The UWM Innovation Campus is being developed by the UWM Real Estate Foundation to enhance research and partnerships for UWM. With grant support from the Economic Development Administration, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the UWM Innovation Campus partners industry, academia, and non-profit research organizations together at one location and offers UWM students and faculty resources that aid in delivering key UWMRF programs, including the NSF I-Corps program.
The Lubar Entrepreneurship Center will be housed in a new 24,000 sq. ft. facility at the northwest corner of E. Kenwood Blvd and N. Maryland Avenue, along with the UWM Welcome Center in early 2019. This new facility will provide a home for student entrepreneurs, faculty, community business partners, and others to work on building new enterprises.
